1. What cookies and similar technologies are

Cookies are small files stored on your device when you visit a website. Pixels, tags and local storage work in a similar way: they let a site, or a company working with it, store or read information on your device. This policy covers all of them as ‘cookies’.

2. Your choices

When you first visit our site, our cookie banner (run by consentmanager) asks for your choices. Measurement and Marketing cookies do not load until you choose to accept them. You can change your mind at any time:

Open Cookie settings

You can also clear or block cookies in your browser. Blocking Function cookies may stop parts of the site, such as booking, from working.

3. The cookies we use

Our cookie banner groups cookies into the categories below. The names match the switches you see in Cookie settings.

Category What it does Providers Default
Function Keeps the site secure and working, remembers your cookie choices, runs bookings, forms, payments and website chat, and shows embedded content such as videos, maps, fonts and reviews Universal Motorcycle Training, consentmanager, Cloudflare, Google Tag Manager, Google reCAPTCHA, our booking system (Take A Byte / In-Contact), Crisp, Payl8r, YouTube, Google Maps, Google Fonts, Trustindex On. You can switch it off in Cookie settings, but parts of the site may then not work.

The full, current list of providers and cookies, with names and expiry periods, is shown in the cookie banner (open Cookie settings above). Our banner provider scans the site regularly, so that list stays up to date.

4. Matched data

If you accept marketing cookies, the Meta, TikTok and Google pixels may send scrambled (hashed) versions of contact details you type into our forms, so the platform can match your visit to an account. See section 5 of our Privacy Policy.

5. How long cookies last

Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser. Others last from one day to two years depending on the provider; the banner shows the exact period for each.
