Universal Motorcycle Training® provides motorcycle training across London and Hertfordshire, with seven training centres in Alperton, Croydon, Edgware, Eltham, Wimbledon, Dagenham and Hoddesdon. Whether you are booking your first CBT course, returning to riding after time away, improving your confidence on the road or working towards a full motorcycle licence through Direct Access, you can train at the centre that suits you best.
All seven centres offer training from CBT through to full motorcycle licence courses, including A1, A2 and Category A Direct Access. Courses run seven days a week at most centres, giving riders a choice of weekday and weekend availability. You can book online or speak to the team directly on 020 3691 8807.
CBT is a practical training course designed to help new and learner riders develop the basic skills needed to ride safely on the road. It is not a pass/fail test. If your instructor is satisfied that you have reached the required standard, you will receive a DL196 certificate, which is valid for two years. CBT courses cost £205 all-inclusive, with bike, helmet and equipment hire included.
For riders aiming for a full licence, Universal Motorcycle Training® offers structured training for the motorcycle category that matches your age, experience and licence entitlement. This can include preparation for Module 1 and Module 2 tests, road riding development, machine control and safe, confident riding in real traffic conditions.

Our Alperton centre is our Wembley HQ. It serves riders across West London and offers CBT, full motorcycle licence training and Direct Access courses.
